THE STORY BEHIND THE CELEBRATION

One Zodiac Year, Countless Ways To Celebrate

Lunar New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is one of the most widely celebrated festivals in Asia, marking the start of a new zodiac year — 2026 is the Year of the Horse.

Across Asia, the celebration goes by many names — Seollal in Korea, Tết in Vietnam, Tsagaan Sar in Mongolia — but the spirit stays the same: reunion dinners, red envelopes, and a shared hope for prosperity and good fortune in the year ahead.

A Dear Asia Event

Not a small undertaking – our whole team of experienced language, culture and craft educators comes together to design and deliver your experience.
Styled like a fun fair – activities are set up as different stations so guests can wander between at their own pace, making the whole event feel like a festival fun fair rather than a fixed itinerary.
Flexible by design – activities scale from an intimate team of 12–20 to a company-wide celebration of 60 or more.
Fully immersive – guests see, feel, learn, taste and create, connecting genuinely with Asian culture through multi-sensory experiences.
Active engagement – we keep a facilitator-to-guest ratio of 1:6–8, so everyone stays engaged and involved.

Our Special For Lunar New Year

This Lunar New Year, we bring the Year of the Horse to life through food, craft and tradition.
